Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 23 June 2026

These terms govern your use of the Arise and Shine Consulting website, membership platform, learning resources, bookings, community features and related services.

1. Who we are

Arise and Shine Consulting provides structured educational content, practical resources, membership services and access to support sessions. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Arise and Shine Consulting, and “you” refers to the person using the platform.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, purchasing a membership, booking a session or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

3. Accounts and security

  • Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
  • Keep your password, passkeys and recovery information secure.
  • Do not share your account or allow another person to impersonate you.
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable care.

4. Nature of the service

Our content and sessions provide general education, guidance and practical support. They are not a substitute for advice from a regulated financial adviser, solicitor, medical professional, mental-health professional or emergency service. Outcomes depend on your circumstances, and we do not guarantee a particular financial, legal, housing, health or employment result.

Urgent situations: the platform is not an emergency or crisis-response service. If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services or an appropriate specialist crisis service.

5. Memberships and access

Membership features, prices and access levels are described on the relevant plan and checkout pages. Free, paid and premium features may differ. Access is personal, non-transferable and subject to these terms. We may improve or replace content and features while maintaining the overall substance of the service you purchased.

6. Payments, renewal and cancellation

  • Paid memberships are processed through Stripe or another payment provider identified at checkout.
  • The price, billing interval, renewal date and any trial will be shown before purchase.
  • Recurring memberships renew automatically until cancelled.
  • You can manage or cancel billing through the membership or billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless checkout states otherwise.
  • Fees are non-refundable once a service period has started, except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase.

Nothing in these terms limits statutory cancellation, refund or consumer rights that apply to you.

7. Sessions and bookings

Availability is not guaranteed until a booking is confirmed. You must provide information reasonably needed for the session and join on time. The booking screen will display the applicable duration, format and cancellation window. We may reschedule or cancel a session where reasonably necessary and will offer an alternative or appropriate remedy.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the platform unlawfully, fraudulently, abusively or to harm another person;
  • upload malicious code, probe security, scrape protected content or disrupt the service;
  • copy, resell, publish or commercially exploit member-only materials without written permission;
  • post discriminatory, threatening, defamatory or privacy-infringing material; or
  • misrepresent qualifications, identity or affiliation.

9. Intellectual property

The platform, brand, design, text, learning materials and downloadable resources are owned by us or licensed to us. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use member materials for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain ownership of content you submit, while granting us permission to host and process it to operate the service.

10. Third-party services

The platform may connect to services such as Google, Microsoft and Stripe or link to external resources. Their own terms and privacy practices apply. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control, although this does not affect duties the law places on us.

11. Availability and liability

We use reasonable care and skill in providing the service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, loss caused by information you supplied, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or close an account for serious or repeated breach, non-payment, fraud, security risk, harm to others or legal necessity. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect service, legal or security changes. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. The updated date above shows when the latest version took effect.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have to bring a claim where you live.
